Didn’t know they serve lies

This is an old encounter at one of the Thai restaurants we dined in one evening.
After ordering some dishes, we came to this:
Waitress: Do you want lies (rice, to go along with the dishes)?
My mate: No! I want the truth!
Waitress: . . .

Dinner at Camberwell

Things happened after we had dinner at Camberwell

Screamed by a carful of chicks for jaywalking
A couple of young teens greeted us, “I like you guys because you gave me mee goreng!” and then walked away.

Another year, another annual getaway from the real world. Manifest 2009 is here!

I shall curse that SOB with 100 different ways to suffer for the next 100 days.
On the positive side, I have an excuse for a D90 :p

Moving to a new home

11 September 2008 at 10:15 am » Comments (0)

Today marks the third night I’ve spent at my new home. And no, I didn’t buy it; I rented it. Living in the suburbs reminded me the good old days back in my university days: peaceful, clean, no hassling and buzzing sounds of vehicles (except that fire engine leaving the station from time to time).
But I do [...]

Google Chrome

Google has launched its own web browser called Chrome. Very simplistic and tidy design and it’s freaking fast! Yep, I’m using it right now to write this post.
On the downside, there’ll be more work for me. As a web/ multimedia developer, platform testing has just increased by one extra web browser. Grrr.
