Crude Joke #2: Durian sweets

20 October 2008 at 12:34 pm » Comments (0)

I bought some Durian candies last weekend, as part of my twisted plan to enjoy my colleagues’ suffering in my office.
It did pay off.
Two seconds after savouring the yellow candy and out it was spitted into the dustbin. The facial expression turned grostequely and the mind is numbed with question, “What the **** is that”.
Muahaha.

Cleaning the fridge, she says

27 June 2008 at 3:51 pm » Comments (0)

The problem with emails is you can’t undo once you’ve sent it. I got this from my office’s receptionist.
Hi All
On Monday at about 3pm, I will be cleaning out the fridges and the cupboard
As usual, everything will be thrown out of the fridge, unless you put a label on your food so I won’t be [...]

“Ohh, look at the rain”

2 May 2008 at 1:37 pm » Comments (0)

The greyish cloudy sky and the welcoming cold marks the arrival of Autumn. Yippie-ho-haa….
It’s a gloomy season and rainy days are not uncommon. At times it pours heavier than any other days and at times, it feels like a mild dose of tropical rain. My colleagues found it so fascinating that they would drop everything they are doing, skip [...]

Stay away from my cup!

11 March 2008 at 9:33 am » Comments (0)

(Stop throwing me away!)

My office has just replaced their entire cups, cutlery, plates and all the kitchenware with brand new ones. The old kitchenwares are then moved to a corner and prepared to be discarded or given away (I took a few home). I refused to switch to the brand new, shiny ones and am very happy with this [...]

Kopiko anyone?

(Goodies for everyone!)

Once a while (quite often actually), numerous colleagues will tend to share some finger food or confectionaries with everyone. Leftover Unfinished snacks from the training sessions too will be left in the common kitchen for the staff to “access”. The lady colleagues here especially just can’t resist any tid bits lying around in the office.
In return, [...]

1 Krispy Kreme = 7 Maccas burgers

8 February 2008 at 11:45 am » Comments (0)

Today we celebrated the big boss of the company’s birthday. Instead of a traditional birthday cake, my colleague bought dozens of Krispy Kreme and stacked them together.
When the boss saw this, he told everyone in the room, “Do you know eating one of those doughnuts is like consuming seven of MacDonald burgers?”
I ate two three. Gulp.

(1 Krispy [...]

Kris Kringle

Update (08/01/2008): Just got my T-shirt via a parcel mail. I misread the text in the paper: I thought it was placed in my office’s mailbox but I couldn’t find it and I thought some cleaners nicked it during the Christmas break.
I had my share from the Kris Kringle at my company’s Christmas party and I got this:

Crude Joke #1 : The Innocent Dish Washing Sponge

23 August 2007 at 2:31 pm » Comments (0)

It is kind of frustrating when they do not clean up after they use the utensils/items/etc in the common kitchen so I cooked up a crude joke to play on my unsuspecting colleagues in my office.

(Source)
Step 1: Pour hot/boiling water onto the sponge. (It’ll absorb you see).
Step 2: Leave the wet sponge in the basin/sponge [...]

PDF is a scary document

20 July 2007 at 2:38 pm » Comments (0)

All this while I thought PDF files is just a simple display-independant and resolution-independant open standard document in our crazy IT world. I guess my simpleton mind really puts me way way behind technology advances.
Only recently I did some serious research and found out that we can actually do more than just provide a simple 2D [...]

Jelly Beans and Cap

18 July 2007 at 12:44 pm » Comments (1)

Being new here, I was given 2 items as a “welcome gift”:

A Cap with the company emblem
A Jar (with the company emblem) filled with Jelly Beans

P.S. If you really wanna know, yes, I’ve checked: There’s no company markings on each of the Jelly Beans.
